Las Vegas shows compared: pick the one that fits you

The best Vegas shows for most people are a big revue, a Cirque du Soleil show or a magic show. The table above puts six of them side by side, with the price, length and refund rule.

Here is what the table leaves out, from the listings:

  • Vegas! The Show: the ticket includes the box office fee and tax.
  • V The Ultimate Variety Show: bring ID.
  • ROUGE: adults 18+ only.
  • Tournament of Kings: dinner is in the ticket.
  • Fantasy: adults 18+ only.
  • Criss Angel MINDFREAK: ages 12 and up.

How to choose between the shows

If you see only one show, match it to who you are with. Each line below uses the listing’s own facts.

  • First visit: Vegas! The Show tells the story of Las Vegas entertainment in 75 minutes.
  • Couples: ROUGE or Fantasy for an adults-only night, or a Cirque du Soleil show.
  • Friends: V packs comedy, magic and stunts into one show.
  • Families: Tournament of Kings, with dinner and horses.
  • Magic fans: Criss Angel for big effects, from age 12.
  • Adults only: ROUGE and Fantasy do not admit anyone under 18.

Best shows by type: variety, magic, comedy, music, Cirque

Las Vegas has a show for almost every taste. Here is the short version by type.

  • Variety: V mixes comedy, magic, juggling and acrobats. Vegas! The Show is a revue of song and dance.
  • Magic: Criss Angel is the big-effects show. Our magic guide compares six magic shows.
  • Comedy: stand-up clubs at the STRAT, Horseshoe and MGM Grand, plus Carrot Top at Luxor.
  • Music: concerts at the Sphere are sold on Ticketmaster, the Sphere’s site says.
  • Cirque du Soleil: four shows run in Las Vegas: Mystère, “O”, KÀ and Michael Jackson ONE. Cirque’s own site sells them from $49 plus taxes.

Michael Jackson ONE

Michael Jackson ONE is the Cirque du Soleil show set to his music, at Mandalay Bay. Tickets start from €67 on GetYourGuide, and they are non-refundable. Our Cirque du Soleil guide compares it with the other three shows.

Cheap show tickets and how to save

The cheapest show tickets on this page are V from €35, Fantasy from €39 and Vegas! The Show from €46. All three are "from" prices for the cheapest seat.

The cheapest show of all is free. The Fremont Street Experience has free concerts on its stages every night, its own site says.

We found no official half-price booth to name, so we don’t list one. Prices change with the date, so check a few nights in the date picker.

Shows for kids and families

The best show on this page for kids is Tournament of Kings. Children 3 and under go free on an adult’s lap and share the meal. From age 4 they pay the full price.

Vegas! The Show and V set no age rule on their listings, so check the listing before you book.

Two shows are for adults only. ROUGE and Fantasy do not admit anyone under 18. Criss Angel admits guests from age 12.

Tickets, seats and refunds

Three of the six tickets here can be refunded. Vegas! The Show, V and ROUGE have free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Tournament of Kings, Fantasy and Criss Angel are non-refundable. You can’t get your money back if your plans change.

None of these six listings promises a reserved seat. The "from" price buys the cheapest seat, and better seats cost more.

Non-refundable means no money back, even if you miss the show.

Las Vegas shows tonight

To find Las Vegas shows tonight, use the date picker in the live list near the end of this page. It shows which tickets you can still book for today.

What to know on show night: dress code, arrival, parking

Arrive early and bring photo ID. The Vegas! The Show listing asks you to arrive 30 minutes before the show, with photo ID for the box office.

None of these listings sets a dress code, so check your ticket. ROUGE allows only small purses (8 by 8 inches) and no backpacks. Tournament of Kings allows no backpacks either.

Driving? Caesars says its parking and valet rates may go up at busy events and holidays.
